I hope this isn't a loaded question. I think it's a legitimate one. My Macbook Pro seems like it's made of iron. It withstood a 5 foot drop onto ceramic tile and still purrs along nicely. So, are their comparable machines from other manufacturers that are of equal quality. If someone is looking for a well built Windows laptop should we recommend a Macbook Pro? |

Ok, I'm answering my own question. This article might be a little old but Gizmodo wrote that the Macbook Pro is the fastest windows vista notebook. http://gizmodo.com/317060/macbook-pro-is-the-fastest-windows-vista-notebook I've actually settled on running vmware for my windows needs. It's not quite as fast as running to the bare metal of the hardware but it's good enough. |
